Points to Know
- All applications must be submitted by 5:00 pm on the day of the posting deadline. Any applications submitted after 5:00 p.m. will not be considered for the position.
- A complete application must be submitted for each position applied for. The applications are not held and used for any position other than the numbered postings on the web site.
- All applications are submitted through the online process. No paper applications are accepted by the Maricopa Community College District Human Resources Department.
- Many positions (Faculty/Trainer, etc) will require a "Micro-teach" or "Mini-training" as part of the interview process and will be identified when an appointment for the interview is scheduled.
- The positions posted on the web site will be for board approved positions. This means going through interviewing process noted in this document.
- Each college or department may have part-time, adjunct instructor or contract positions available in which a department head can make the selection.
- Adjunct Instructor positions are determined by the department head of the teaching division. A complete Adjunct instructor hiring packet will need to be completed for the specific campus human resource department. This will include an application, qualifying transcripts from accredited colleges and universities, a resume, cover letter expressing a desire to provide instruction and any other information requested by the hiring college. Hiring records are kept on that specific campus. To get a list of possible adjunct positions call or visit the teaching department.
