purpose is to determine relative internal value of each
position, maintain internal equity,

qualifications, longevity, performance
- define , describe, evaluate

- compare evaluation with other

creation - complete questionnaire, get signatures, create
JD, submit to committee rep.
- reclass request -
questionnaire, signatures, create new JD if necessary,
submit to committee rep, must have been performing new
duties at least 6 months
- the process - questionnaire
goes into computer, take results to monthly review
meeting, reccomendation goes to CEC, letter goes to all

- Professional Growth - Emma
Walters - haven't met yet this month, out of money for
the Fall. The MAT Exec. Council requests that the
committee provide complete documentation of policies and
practices for allocating professional growth funds for
possible revisions. The Council raised some issues
regarding how the funds are split over the year,
timelines for submitting requests, and distribution of
policies and practices to the membership at large.

- Activity Planning - Ann
Barrett - Negotiation Training taking place this Friday,
10 have enrolled.
VI. District Committee
Reports
- Chancellor's Financial
Advisory Council - Ann Barrett, Patti Johnson -
subcommittees recommending change in how units request
funding. Implementing 6 evaluation categories, and change
date to February 23rd (December next year).
