Dr. Rufus Glasper,
Vice Chancellor for Business Services, Maricopa Community Colleges

Rufus Glasper has served in a leadership role for the Maricopa Community Colleges since 1986. The scope of his responsibilities includes fiscal planning and reporting and the implementation of fiscal policies and procedures. Dr. Glasper’s educational background includes a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, a Masters and advanced degrees in school business administration, and a Doctorate in Higher Education Finance. Dr. Glasper received the Kellogg Foundation Fellowship in Community College Leadership in 1989-90.

Dr. Patricia Honzay,
Acting Director, Employee and Organizational Development, Maricopa Community Colleges

Pat has a Doctorate in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Community Colleges from Northern Arizona University. She has a Masters Degree in Vocational Education with a minor in Educational Administration and Counseling and Guidance, a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and Distributive Education from the University of North Dakota, and an Associates Degree from the University of Minnesota.

Pat says that she has been privileged to serve as a Manager in Maricopa for 16 years. During that time she has been a bookstore manager, Supervisor and Director of Admissions and Records, Associate Dean of Student Services, and Manager of Learner Centered Systems before assuming her current position. In addition, Pat is an Adjunct faculty member. Prior to joining Maricopa, she was a retail manager.

Lama Kadag,
Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, Scottsdale, AZ

An American Buddhist practitioner of 30 years experience, Lama Kadag is resident teacher of Laksminkara Buddhist Institute here in Arizona, and Director of the program in Tibetan Traditional Healing at Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Scottsdale.

Shirley Lowman,
Senior Organizational Process Analyst, Maricopa Community Colleges

Shirley has worked for the Maricopa Community Colleges for 17 years. She currently is a Senior Organizational Process Analyst for the Employee and Organizational Development Department at the District Office. Shirley has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Master of Science Degree in Library Science from Emporia State University in Kansas.

Marcia Reynolds,
M.A., M.Ed, Master Certified Coach

Brenda Stocklin-Smith,
Coordinator of Human Resources, Maricopa Community Colleges

Brenda is graduate of the University of Missouri with a BA in Business Administration -Human Resources Management. Currently she is an MBA candidate with Chadwick University, a distance learning graduate program. Brenda has earned an HR Generalist Certification from the Society of Human Resource Management. She has been the Employee Relations Coordinator for a large County government, Pima Community College, and now in her current position at Maricopa Community Colleges. Brenda currently plays an active role in all the evaluation processes at MCCCD including the Faculty Evaluation Program.
