Personal and Exploratory Writing
Using writing to explore one's self and the world one lives in; emphasis on expository writing as a means of learning. Prerequisites: (ENG101 and ENG102) or ENG105.

1. Use a minimum of 20 personal and/or academic journal entries as sources for public writing. (I)
2. Use writing effectively to explore one's thoughts and personal experience. (I-III)
3. Use writing to enhance critical thinking skills in examining ideas and issues. (I-III)
4. Develop effective invention, drafting, revising, and editng strategies as used by serious writers. (I-III)
5. Use peer critiquing skillfully as a technique for giving, receiving, and using feedback to revise writing. (I-III)

7. Effectively integrate resource material into academic exposition. (I-III)
