Ballet Basic Level

Dance training for personal skill development and interest. Introduction to the theory and practice of ballet at the basic level.

Prerequisites: None. Prior dance experience suggested but not required.

 

Course Notes: Course is not intended for dance majors. DAN131PA may be repeated for a total of one (1) credit hour.

Utilize the theory of the body's relationship to gravity and the center of gravity used in ballet. (I, II, III, IV, V)
