Methods in Special Education

School-based experiences relating to the understanding of and teaching strategies for exceptional learners with mild/moderate mental retardation, learning disabilities, emotional disabilities, physical disabilities and/or other health related impairments. Provides opportunities for students to apply learning in the classroom. Approved school- based practicum required.

Prerequisites: Baccalaureate Degree and formal admission to a state approved post-baccalaureate teacher preparation program and EDU222 and (EDU223AA, EDU223AB, EDU223AC, and EDU223AD).
