Aerospace History to WWII
Primarily focuses on the study of the relationship of worldwide historical (including sociological and technological) trends which contributed to the development of air power from its earliest beginnings through two world wars. Special attention given to broad historical trends which impacted the evolution of air power in a variety of national strategic concepts and doctrines, culminating in the international effect of air power in World War II. Practical application of Air Force customs and courtesies, Air Force placement in the international environment, drill and ceremonies and field training orientation mandatory for students enrolled in the AFROTC program. Other students submit an additional book review/report. Prerequisites: None.
