Principles and techniques of sterilization and disinfection processes. Surgical instrument disinfection and preparation. Decontaminating procedures of surgical instruments. Methods of packaging and wrapping of surgical instruments.

Prerequisites: Admission to the Surgical Technology or Hospital Central Service program or permission of Instructor.
