Nursing Process and Critical Thinking II
Focus on nursing concepts and theories to meet basic human needs across the life span based on the wellness/illness continuum. Emphasis on the nursing process related to children and adult clients with selected alterations in health. Introduction to care of the childbearing client and childbearing family. Continuation of the role of the practical nurse in planning nursing care applying established nursing diagnoses for clients. Emphasis on the utilization of critical thinking processes related to nursing care of clients in the community and health care facilities. Prerequisites: NUR160, NUR162, NUR164, NUR168, and HCR240AA.
