Advanced patient assessment, basic airway care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and basic continuous mechanical ventilation.
Prerequisites: RES110, RES135 and RES145.

1. Explain existing data in patient record such as arterial blood gas analysis and breath sounds. (I)
2. Recommend additional diagnostic procedures, X-rays, laboratory tests, respiratory monitoring and pulmonary function tests. (I)
3. Perform and/or evaluate additional diagnostic procedures, X- rays, laboratory tests, respiratory monitoring and pulmonary function tests. (I)
4. Collect and/or evaluate clinical data collected by interview of the patient to determine the appropriateness of the prescribed respiratory care plan. (I)
