Nursing Process III
System of nursing practice expanded from Nursing Process II to include client, family, and community. Holistic perspective integrating advanced concepts of health adaptation; individual, family, and community needs; multicultural values; communication; life span development; nursing process; and professional role. Theoretical concepts of complex communication techniques, mental health/mental illness and advanced pathophysiology associated with selected body systems. Clinical experiences structured for planning and delivery of client care in psychiatric and medical/surgical areas for beginning role development of registered nurse responsibilities and skills. Prerequisites: NUR109, BIO202, and ENG101.
