Working knowledge of college-level mathematics and its applications to real-life problems. Emphasis on understanding mathematical concepts and their applications rather than on manipulative skills. Appropriate for the student whose major does not require college algebra or pre-calculus. Prerequisites: Grade of "C" or better in MAT120 or MAT122 or equivalent, or satisfactory score on District placement exam. | |||
