Federal and Tribal Governments: Authority and Responsibility
Presents an overview of the role of Tribal governments today and their relationship to Federal, State and local governments. Reviews the legal responsibilities of the Federal government to provide services to Native Americans. Reviews governments' functions and authority and explores ways in which citizens and tribes can participate in the political process. Prerequisites: None.
