Development of clinical skills in a detailed assessment of an adult. Emphasis on development of prioritized nursing care plans based on systematized history and examination. Includes: use of ophthalmoscope; reflex hammer and tuning forks; complete cardiovascular and neurological examination; assessment of geriatric patient and principles of pathophysiology. Prerequisites: Current Practical Nurse (PN), or Registered Nurse (RN) license, or permission of instructor. | |||
