Nursing Process II | |||
Builds and expands upon holistic nursing concepts and skills of Nursing Process I, in care of adults and children. Nursing role development continues: Use of nursing process in presentation of basic concepts in mental health, child health, and maternity care. Includes basic principles of care for clients with disorders of selected body systems. Further expansion of growth and development throughout the lifespan, therapeutic interpersonal communication, health promotion, cultural and ethnic considerations. Clinical experiences structured to further develop bedside nursing skills with adults and children, nursing care plans and charting, and medication administration to a group of clients. Prerequisites: BIO201, NUR108, and PSY101. | |||
