2. Trace the historical roots of the generalist practice, including its foundation and the role in the social work profession. (I)
3. Explain the dynamics of social work ethics and values as it relates to working within a soical service agency. (II)
4. Describe the relationship between self, professional identification, and agency work roles. (II)
5. Describe the referral and brokerage roles of social workers. (II)
6. Define cultural diversity, and relate how social work ethics and value guide professional behavior. (II)
7. Practice skills in listening to and questioning social work professionals from local human service agencies. (III)
8. Explain ways in which social workers are sensitive to human diversity such as ethnic/cultural, gender, age, and sexual orientation. (III)
9. Use the Maricopa County Directory of Human Services to locate various types of services. (III)
10. Identify the roles of case managers in accessing services. (III)
