Physical Assessment
Focuses on development of clinical skills in assessing a patient's condition. Emphasis on abbreviated history and physical examinations for adults. Includes history intake, relevant psychosocial principles, weekly reviews of anatomy and physiology, and techniques of inspection, palpation, percussion, and auscultation. Discussion of legal, ethical, and cultural aspects of nursing practice in Arizona. Prerequisites: Open to RNs, LPNs, or permission of instructor.
