Emphasis on increasing knowledge base in mental health crisis, maternal-infant high risk situations, and circulatory, mobility, and elimination dysfunctions. Application of nursing process when caring for individual and small groups of patients with chronic/terminal diseases occurring during life cycle. Prioritizing needs and distinguishing between functional and dysfunctional adaptation to multiple stressors affecting body systems.
