Synthesizes the role of the Associate Degree medical-surgical nurse as a teacher and provider of safe care with emphasis on critical care, pathophysiology and basic management skills. Continuation of the use of the nursing process to formulate nursing diagnoses and individialized care plans. Cultural concepts related to pathophysiology are included. Utilization of the computer.
