Obstetrical Nursing II
Nursing Process applied to assessment and needs of the high risk maternal and infant patient with complications. Introduces the role of the Associate Degree nurse as a provider of safe care in the obstetrical clinical setting, effective communicator and teacher. Cultural needs of the adolescent client included. Infant and pregnancy folk health beliefs of southwestern ethnic groups included. Prerequisites: Acceptance into the LPN to ADN program, NUR121 or equivalent, or permission of the Director of Nursing.
