Fundamentals of Nursing I
Introduction to ethical/legal roles of nursing personnel, nursing process and basic nursing skills. Includes preparation for diagnosticexaminations, addressing nutritional and cultural needs and medical terminology. Clinical experience to perform basic nursing care provided. Care of the elderly emphasized. Prerequisites: Acceptance into the PN (Practical Nursing) program.
