Theory of Elementary Mathematics
A study of the modern arithmetic processes with balanced emphasis on structure and methodology. Recommended for those intending to teach in elementary schools. Arithmetic proficiency at the 90% level required for credit in this course. Prerequisites: Grade of "C" or better in MAT124, or MAT129, or equivalent, or satisfactory score on District placement exam.
