Registry and Board Examinations Preparation
Preparation for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist ( ARRT) and the Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE) examinations. Review of the ARRT and MRTBE content specifications, techniques for preparation and review of current literature. Prerequisites: Qualified individuals preparing for the ARRT and MRTBE, or permission of department.

1. Identify the areas described in the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and the Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners examinations contest specifications. (I)
2. Describe examination procedures and format including radiation physics and protection, equipment operation and maintenance, anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning and procedures, and techniques. ( II)
3. Describe and apply principles of radiation physics and protection. ( III)
4. Describe and apply principles of radiographic equipment operation and maintenance. (IV)
5. Explain specific anatomical structures, organ systems and physiological processes of the human body. (V)
6. Identify and apply correct radiographic positions and procedures for specific clinical situations. (VI)
7. Select the correct technical factors to maintain proper radiographic film quality. (VII)
