Reinforcement and broadening of all previous experience and skills including advanced exams acquired in MRT248, Radiology Practicum IV. Specialized imaging modalities introduced. Prerequisites: MRT248.

1. Perform radiographic examinations of the chest, abdomen, upper and lower extremities. Perform radiographic contrast studies. (II)
2. Under general supervision, perform examinations of the cranium and spine, and procedures in the operating room and examinations utilizing portable equipment. (III)
3. Under strict supervision, perform special procedure examinations. (I)
4. Demonstrate proper exposure and positioning techniques. (III)
5. Evaluate radiographs and perform necessary modifications to produce good quality films. (IV)
6. Utilize radiation protection devices and procedures. (IV)
7. Demonstrate appropriate ethical, legal and professional job-related behavior. (III)
8. Communicate appropriately with patients, physicians, and other members of the health care team. (VI)
