Hospital Pharmacy Internship
Application of pharmacy technician knowledge and skills in the hospital setting. Maintain patient medication files and prepare medications for unit stock distribution. Application of ethical and legal aspects to pharmacy practice. Prerequisites: Typing proficiency of 35 WPM and PHT102, PHT106, PHT107, PHT108, and PHT109 or permission of department.

1. Apply ethical and legal standards of pharmacy practice. (I)
2. Maintain patient medication profiles. (II)
3. Fill and deliver unit dose cassettes. (III)

6. Assist the pharmacist in the distribution of controlled or restricted drugs and maintenance of emergency drug carts. (VI)
