instruments, equipment and supplies. (III)

Recognize special needs and cultural variations to effectively

Communicate effectively with instructors, mentors and all members of

Count sponges, needles and instruments at appropriate times. (V)

Record information on appropriate forms and report deviations form

Utilize hand signals for passing scissors, knife, clamp, needleholder,

Organization, maintain neatness, and demonstrate dexterity in the

Receive, verify and label correctly mediations and specimens on the

Place surgical dressing, connect drainage systems, remove drapes, and
assist with transfer of the patient to a stretcher. (VIII)
