Advanced Medical/Surgical Nursing I
Disease processes applied to concepts of nursing process and physical assessment with emphasis on adult and pediatric medical/surgical management. Incorporation of communication techniques, cultural aspects and patient teaching in developing nursing care plans. Utilization of computers to apply the nursing process. Prerequisites: Admission to ADN program, or permission of the Director of Nursing.
