TDR126   19886-20086 Twelve Kilovolt Distribution Methods II
1. Given situations, select the appropriate tag to be used in a variety of clearing procedures and outline the responsibilities for their use. (I)
2. Explain the use of third party clearances and outline required procedures. (I)
3. Explain the basic application of the electrical construction and distribution, and given case studies, demonstrate how it is to be used. (II)
4. Describe types of network systems and explain the advantages to customers of each system. (III)
5. Discuss problems causing low voltage and correct methods for resolving them. (IV)
6. Given typical situations, apply the rules for diversifying loads in the distribution system. (IV)
7. List the types of capacitor bank applications and calculate voltage and power factor corrections. (IV)
8. Given examples, identify the customer problems in each situation (including bad neutrals, fusing problems and wiring problems). (IV)
9. Describe the method for feeder balancing using phase swapping to correct problems. (IV)
10. Define ferro resonance, explain the causes of the problem and how to correct it.
11. Describe power flows and their effect on the 12 kilovolt (KV) and 69 KV systems. (IV)
