An orientation to the trade, apprentice responsibilities, trade mathematics, basic ladders and scaffolds. Preparation and application procedures of various types of surfaces, causes of paint failures and remedies, overview of basic materials. Prerequisites: Indentured apprentice with the Phoenix Painters and Decorators Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee.
