Nursing Practice I
Knowledge and practice of nursing fundamentals. Emphasis on theory and skills essential for care of pediatric, adult and geriatric patients in the acute care and long term setting. Concepts of communication, legal and ethical aspects, basic emergency care, nutrition, asepsis and pharmacology. Prerequisites: Admission to PN program. Corequisites: NUR107 and PSY240.
