Acquaints nurses with newer concepts of cardiac care in the light of advances in cardiac physiology. Accents the care of the acutely ill cardiac patient, with emphasis on coronary disease and cardiac surgery. Prerequisites: Open to RNs and LPNs or permission of instructor.
