Development of clinical skills of gastric intubation. Emphasis on review of anatomy and physiology of adult and child upper gastrointestinal system, purpose of intubation, types of tubes, and procedure. Prerequisites: Current practical nurse license in Arizona; equivalent of one (1) year's work experience/practice within last five (5) years; referral and/or recommendation by current employer (health care agency/facility) and current liability insurance. | |||
