Includes sets, polynomials, fractions, linear equations in one and two variables, operations on polynomials, rational expressions, graphing of linear equations. Exponentials and radicals, solutions of linear, quadratic, and absolute value equations and inequalities. Algebraic, exponential and logarithmic functions. Prerequisites: Grade of "B" or better in MAT 077 or MAT078 or equivalent or satisfactory score on a placement exam.
