Projects in Community Service
This course gives the student opportunity to gain work experience in an area of community service which helps relate his/her academic interests to real-life situations. Student and instructor select assignments from an available list of community agencies and organizations which have indicated a need for volunteer worker. The student attends a one-hour seminar weekly and in addition, for each credit in special projects he/she must devote a minimum of 60 hours each semester in designated volunteer assignments. Prerequisites: None.
