Airway
management for the adult, patient. Endotracheal and
suctioning procedures. Usage of specific medications for cardiovascular
emergencies. Interpretation of Electrocardiograms (ECG) dysrhythmias.
Performance of defibrillation and synchronized cardioversion
in simulated situations. Procedure to be followed during cardiovascular
collapse. Special resuscitation techniques for adult, patients. Current
American Heart Association validation in Advance Life Support (ACLS). Prerequisites: Current Health Care
Provider CPR card or EMT/HCC/RES109. |

Apply an oxygen delivery system to an adult patient,

Identify the indications, contraindications, side effects,
uses and dosages of the medications specific to adult cardiovascular
