application of concurrent respiratory care course work with emphasis on
professionalism, medical record evaluation, communication, universal
precaution, infection control, patient safety, patient assessment, age
related care, cultural competence, routine hospital regulations, patient
education and introduction to respiratory disease and treatment. Prerequisites: Admission into the
Respiratory Care program. Corequisites:
