Navajo for Navajo-Speaking Students I | |||
Designed for Navajo-speaking students. Continued practice and development
of speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Emphasis on fluency
and accuracy of the Navajo language including continued study of Navajo
people and cultures. Prerequisites: (NAV102 or equivalent), or (permission of Instructor or Department Chair). | |||
Course Note: NAV203 is conducted entirely in Navajo. May be taken in lieu of NAV201. |

1. | Ask and answer questions and express opinions extemporaneously about a variety of topics using Navajo pronunciation, intonation, and syntax. (I, II) |

4. | Write a composition of at least 200 words using correct Navajo structure and following the writing process (organizing, writing, revising, and proofreading). (IV) |
