Operation, scope, and career opportunities in the music business. Focuses on music in the areas of entrepreneurship, the digital age, e-commerce, industry leadership, visionary development and the collaboration process.

Prerequisites: MUC109 and MUC110 or permission of Instructor.

Examine the inside of the music business entrepreneurship. (I)

2.

Identify the differences between legal entities such as sole proprietorships, partnerships, and limited liability corporations while developing an entrepreneurial state of mind through the study of starting new ventures, acquiring other businesses, and making existing enterprises profitable. (I)

Create an individual music business plan, gather ideas and information to develop the plan and explore its potential for becoming a viable music business. (I)

Develop music business leadership skills. (II)

Examine the difficulties, compromises, and rewards of the collaboration process. (II)

Explore strategies for decision-making and teambuilding. (II)
