Present an overview of the philosophy of yoga, including its spiritual tradition and explain how the philosophy of yoga encompasses the practice of yoga. (I) |

Identify and define the major terms and concepts related to the philosophy and practice of yoga. (I) |

Describe the cultural and historical roots of the philosophy and practice of yoga. (II) |

Explain the relevance and benefits of yoga to modern day life and describe major issues and trends related to its practice. (II, III) |
