Overview of selected drug classifications and categories. Emphasis on principles of drug metabolism and effects, interactions and adverse reactions, and nursing implications for safe practice. Requires application of previous knowledge of physical, biological, and social sciences.
Prerequisites: (HCR240 or HCR240AA), NUR161, NUR163, NUR167, and NUR169.
