GIS for Homeland Security
Overview of Geographic Information System (GIS) software and homeland security applications including hands-on experience. Basic GIS functionality, display and analysis capabilities. Use of GIS for the creation, modification, display, query and analysis of geographic and tabular data. Creation of presentation quality maps and charts related to homeland security applications.
Prerequisites: BPC110 or permission of Department or Division.
