Emergency Room Technician
Role, responsibilities and patient care skills of the emergency room technician. Monitoring techniques and procedures including vital signs, peak flows, 12-lead electrocardiograms and patient observation skills. Care interventions including wound cleansing and bandaging and injury splinting and casting. Patient and workplace safety.
Prerequisites: Certified Nursing Assistant or equivalent.
