Fundamentals
of Spanish |

Accelerated study of elementary Spanish for students with
previous Spanish coursework. Includes basic Spanish grammar, pronunciation,
vocabulary and the study of the Spanish- speaking cultures. Emphasis on
speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Prerequisites: SPA101, or SPA115, or two
years of high school Spanish. |

Define Spanish vocabulary terms, and identify various
sentence structures. (I-IV) |

Demonstrate correct pronunciation and intonation of
Spanish in statements and questions. (II) |
