Nursing Science II
Application of holistic nursing concepts and theories related to health promotion, disease/illness prevention and health restoration of individual and families. Development of clinical competency in the performance of selected nursing skills, participation in the care of clients across the life span including clients with alterations in health. Experiences with individuals, families, and small groups of clients in a variety of acute care, and community settings. Application of nursing concepts and theories related to the development of care plans, client teaching, and discharge planning. Prerequisites: NUR161PN and NUR169PN.
