Nursing Science I
Development of clinical competency in the performance of selected nursing skills and procedures. Provides for participation in the care of clients experiencing problems of alteration in health and selected mental health disorders. Provides for clinical practice experiences with individuals and families in a variety of acute and community settings. Application of holistic nursing concepts and theories related to health promotion, disease/illness prevention, and health restoration of individuals Prerequisites: Admission into the nursing program.
