Introduction to Holistic Nursing
Philosophy and theories of holism applied to nursing practice. Focus on the physical, emotional, psychological, social, and spiritual needs of the client. Emphasis on application of the nursing process from a holistic perspective. Healing relationship model, self-care concept, communication, ethics, therapeutic environment, and cultural sensitivity.
Prerequisites: Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or permission of Instructor.
