Identify and describe the causes of developmental language and communication problems. (II)

Identify common language diagnostic tests, language screening tests/protocols, and describe their administration and scoring procedures. (III)

Identify and describe functional approaches to language intervention. (III)

7.

Describe treatment principles for a variety of language and communication problems. (III)

8.

Identify and describe treatment procedures appropriate for use with presymbolic children, including treatments specific to bilingual populations. (III)

9.

Identify and describe treatment procedures appropriate for use with minimally symbolic and symbolic children, including treatments specific to bilingual populations. (III)

10.

Identify and describe treatment procedures appropriate for use with school-age children and adolescents, including treatments specific to bilingual populations. (III)

11.

Identify and describe treatment procedures appropriate for use with adults, , including treatments specific to bilingual populations. (III)

12.

Participate in directed therapy observation and report on observation following designated protocol. (IV)
