Principles of pretreatment for water purification. Basic concepts of pre-treatment and maintenance procedures. Function and maintenance of specific types of filters. Function of heat exchanger. Advantages and disadvantages of chemical treatment of water. Case studies of field operations.
Prerequisites: CHM130, CHM130LL and WRT104.
