Nursing Process and Critical Thinking IV
Emphasis on nursing concepts and theories to meet complex needs of the critically ill and high-risk clients with multiple system alterations in health. Includes high risk perinatal, pediatric and adult clients in acute care and community settings. Focus on application of critical thinking skills to modify a holistic plan of care. Highlights the role of the professional nurse in health education/promotion, illness prevention and restorative care. Prerequisites: (NUR260, NUR262, NUR266 and NUR268) or NCE214OP, or Integrated Competency Assessment Network (ICAN) placement.
