Pediatric Nursing Assistant Skills
Major developmental tasks for specific pediatric age groups. Role of play and recreation in the care of the hospitalized pediatric patient. Role of parents and siblings in the care of the hospitalized pediatric patient. Safety considerations. Measurement of vital signs, height and weight of the pediatric patient. Nutritional requirements and feeding techniques of the pediatric patient.
